VISA DEBIT CHECKCARD . . .
Apply online by selecting the "Applications" link below then select "Debit/ATM" or the next time you are in one of our offices ask someone about the new VISA Check Card.
The VISA Check Card is simple to use. Rather than taking the time to write all the information on a check just hand the merchant your VISA Check Card and sign the receipt. It's really that easy.
When you use the VISA Check Card, a hold will be placed on your account for the amount of your purchase (some restaurants place a hold for the amount of the purchase plus an estimated tip of 15 - 20%). The hold will be released once the merchant settles with VISA. Also, you can use the VISA Check Card at any Appalachian Community FCU ATM machine or any ATM with a STAR, Pulse, Accel Exchange, Allpoint and VISA logo. You may incur additional fees at ATM machines not owned by Appalachian Community FCU.

Its free and easy since you have an Appalachian Community Federal Credit Union VISA check card. All you have to do is follow these steps when you use your check card to make a purchase:

You will have the option of making a debit or a credit transaction.

You must choose credit for a signature based transaction.

Then you will be required to sign a receipt instead of entering a PIN number.

Your purchase will still be deducted from your CHECKING account.
These points can be then be redeemed for gift certificates, hotel stays, airline tickets and possible cruises. As soon as you have earned 1,500 points, you can redeem them or continue to accumulate points for bigger rewards. Then you can visit the UChoose Reward website by CLICKING HERE.
