Fighting FRAUD and THEFT. We are pleased to announce that Appalachian Community Federal Credit Union is part of a dynamic and proactive program to safeguard you and your debit/check card. Our card processor will track any unusual activity on your card and will initiate a call to your known contact numbers to verify a questionable transaction.  If you receive such a call, do not be unduly alarmed. You will be asked to verify your identity. The caller will then ask about the validity of the transaction in question. You will have the opportunity either to confirm or to deny the transaction in question. If you receive one of these calls, do not be unduly alarmed. Call the credit union if you have any questions.
